My background
I’m Pedram Khoshbakht, a multidisciplinary artist specializing in film visual effects. With over 20 years of professional experience, I started my journey in Iran as a film editor and short filmmaker, eventually becoming a member of the Iranian Society of Film Editors. In 2010, I made the move to Canada, where I continued my path in the film industry as a visual effects artist.
My path in the film industry
As a VFX compositor, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to notable films across various studios, including Marvel, Walt Disney, Netflix and HBO. As a director, I’ve had the opportunity to create three short films and nine music videos. My editing journey extends to twelve feature films, eight TV series, and a multitude of trailers and advertisements.
Beyond the film industry
I am passionate about exploring various art forms and storytelling mediums, using tools such as photography and painting. I also enjoy expressing myself through writing, whether it’s crafting short stories or poems.
